Re: Hajimemashite! ~(^-^*)
Hello~
I'm usually the youngest on forums about otome games so I wouldn't be surprised if I am here as well :'D. Don't worry, I'm not a whiny childish kid who leeches off of other's hard work, so expect me to come back to haunt you guys once I learn some decent Japanese.
"Karin" isn't my real name, and it's pronounced the Japanese way, btw, not the American way. (Kah-rin vs. Care-ren. Yeah.) It's just a name I started using online and I've been using it ever since.
Mmmm...I love otome games but I've never played a good one yet; the english translated one was quite ordinary and forgettable. I also love blogging and I have quite a few blogs :'D. All active, of course, and that's the most amazing part. I have one for anime/manga/music/otome games, one for downloads because I got a warning from wordpress (lol. nothing serious though. I apologized right away and moved the content) and one on Ameba for personal stuff. It's all open though. Ukauka-Piyo Not sure if the title makes sense but I looked it up and it's something to do with lazy. And I'm pretty...lazy when I want to be.
I live in the states and I curse the sun because even though I don't go out much I still get tanned. My state isn't named the "sunshine state" for nothing. I'm entering a highly academic high school next year but that doesn't stop me from slacking and being stupid; I love anime and manga but not quite so obsessed as an otaku. I love KPOP and JPOP but lately more so KPOP but my JPOP will always be No. 1~frankly, even though I'm technically an "american" I'm full chinese (only born in California) and I dislike american originated music. It just sounds different.
I love the band SHINee and if you want to fangirl about them with me feel free~I'm not a very avid fangirl though...if you want to squeal about how cute their elbows are or something like that please don't come to me
('-^*)/
I can speak fluent English (first language) and enough Chinese to get by (meaning I can survive in China but after a while of no english I might go mad). I'm learning Spanish as well as Japanese, and I hope to make my blog multilingual soon. I've already posted an english/chinese entry so wee~
Hmm...I'm also a huge fan of Hakuouki (of course, right) and the reason why I started learning Japanese was because I wanted to understand Hakuouki. Well, now it's being translated <3 but there's still the Starry Sky PC games that nobody's translating yet and a bunch more. Plus I'd like to understand the language even if there are no incentives. Korean, too.
Well, it's nice to meet you all <3. Let's have a good timespazzing about hakuouki bishieschatting about Hakuouki~

Wow, it's actually been pretty long since someone posted in this topic. It's a bit rude for me to join but not introducing myself so, here I go. XD
hajimemashite minna-san
My real name's pretty much complicated to say so calling me "hime" instead would be great
I live in Indonesia, is an indonesian, and speaks bahasa indonesia. Lived in a few other places before though, which is where my capability of speaking english comes from (basically my second language).
I'm still a beginner in japanese (learned through books, anime, and games (mostly otome ones).
Currently a medical college student in need of more otome games to mess up her head so she could be sane. (=´∇`=)
Umm, I'm not really good at introducing myself so I'm sorry if you get bored from reading this. XD
Anyway, if my memory serves right, I stumbled upon this forum from the link I found in the arabians lost translation project on wordpress that nimue made. I've actually seen the hakuouki translation project on wordpress before the arabians lost one though, so I was really interested in this forum and decided to join.
*goes speechless* gah! Out of topic. Umm, oh yea, as I've said before I love playing otome games. Hakuouki is one of the few otome games I've played. Too bad I can barely understand any of the historical bits. THIS is where the anime makes a BIG role in my life (okay, that was a bit exaggerated). The hakuouki anime that came with the english subtitle really helped me in understanding at least the main plot for the game, and that made me so happy.
Aside from that, I watch basically any kind of anime. Gundam, kimi ni todoke, ouran, kateikyo hitman, just name it. ƪ(˘⌣˘)ʃ
Lastly, I would like to say thanks a lot to all of you wonderful people who's making a big effort in hacking and trying to translate these games. It really helps all those non japanese speakers out there (including me). Let us spread the love for otome games all over the world <3
Okay, it's time for me to take my leave now. Wish you guys the best of luck, will help with anything I'm capable of. Ganbatte ne.
ƪ(˘⌣˘)┐ ƪ(˘⌣˘)ʃ ┌(˘⌣˘)ʃ
Sore de wa, yoroshiku onegai shimasu. *bows*
PS: I saw on hakuouki wordpress that nimue just came back from a long hiatus. Good to see you back and I wish you the best of luck for the continuation of this project.
